Bartlett Pear Seconds- Bartletts can be kept in a cold enviornment to keep for about 1 month, will ripen quickly if left at room temp. These pears are cosmeticallty challenged, fine for dehydrating, pureed into baby food, for pies, etc.
Red Comice- Gorgeous Red Comice this year. Solid red color, same smooth sweet texture that has made these pears popular. "Keep cold to Hold" for the holidays. Will make a beautiful addition to a holiday table. Give as a gift with nice cheese. Takes 7-10 days to ripen at room temp.
Green Anjous- Great keeping pear, can be stored through the spring if kept cold. Bright, lite citrus flavor. (multi purpose pear)
Bosc- This pear has a nutty honey like flavor. Can be eaten firm or allowed to ripen. Good storage qualities. Can be kept several months if kept cold. Excellent option for baking. Good for canning. Lovely dried. (Great Baker, can be eaten firm)
Concordes- A customer favorite at our farm. Can be eaten firm or allowed to ripen. Fun vanilla flavor. Excellent fresh eating, great option for baking, and awesome dried!
